Arrive in the "City of Temples," meet your chauffeur for a comfortable private drive to the foothills of the Trikuta Mountains, and unwind in Katra.

Arrive at Jammu Airport (IXJ) or Jammu Tawi Railway Station. Meet your dedicated representative and chauffeur at the exit concourse for a smooth transfer via private air-conditioned vehicle.

Embark on a comfortable 50 km drive (approximately 2 hours) winding past the rolling Shivalik foothills and countryside up to Katra, the base town for the holy yatra.

All pilgrims must register for the yatra and obtain a physical RFID Yatra Access Card at the Katra counters or railway station before commencing their journey. The RFID card must be carried at all times during the pilgrimage.
Vaishno Devi helicopter bookings open 45 to 60 days in advance through the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) system. Confirmed guest details and valid government-issued photo IDs (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID) are required well in advance. Children aged 2 years and older require an individual ticket; infants under 2 travel seated on an adult's lap.
Helicopter flights operate strictly subject to clear mountain visibility and safety clearance by aviation authorities. Dense fog, rain, or adverse wind conditions may cause delays or cancellations. Refund processing for operator weather cancellations is subject to Shrine Board aviation terms; passengers may continue via traditional trekking, battery cars, or ponies.
The Sanjichhat Helipad is approximately 2.5 kilometres from the Holy Bhawan. Pilgrims can walk the distance in approximately 45–60 minutes or hire battery cars (subject to availability for seniors), ponies, or palkis at regulated local rates.
