THE EXPERIENCE
This 2-night Manali holiday is designed for travellers looking for a short Himachal escape. The itinerary combines Manali's local attractions with a full-day Solang Valley excursion and a Kullu–Naggar day trip before departure. The package includes accommodation, breakfast and dinner, and an individual cab as per the itinerary
Cradled in the shadow of the Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar ranges, where the roaring torrents of the Beas River carve their path through ancient gorges, Manali arose as a sacred crossroad of trans-Himalayan commerce, mythological dawn, and alpine majesty. Mythologized as the sanctuary where the progenitor-sage Manu stepped from his ark to recreate humankind after the great deluge, the Kullu Valley has long drawn wandering ascetics, Silk Route caravans navigating high passes toward Ladakh and Tibet, and weary travelers seeking refuge beneath the eternal snowline.
Rather than sprawling lowlands, Manali’s legacy was hewn from timber and stone—giving rise to multi-tiered pagoda shrines nestled within towering deodar groves, riverside villages where the aroma of pine smoke mingles with the ritual chants of ancient temples, and rustic stone-and-wood kath-kuni homesteads weathering centuries of high-altitude winters. From the glacial winds sweeping across the high saddle of Rohtang down to the sunlit, apple-scented orchards of Old Manali, the valley stands as a timeless haven of Himalayan grandeur and quiet mountain spirit.
2 NIGHTS / 3 DAYS
Arrive at the Manali bus terminal, where our representative meets you for a private transfer to your hotel. Complete check-in formalities and take time to settle in and acclimatize to the mountain air (early check-in is subject to room availability as per hotel policy and may incur an extra fee). After a leisurely lunch, step out for a scenic 3 to 4-hour guided discovery of Manali’s cultural and historical landmarks
Enter the tranquil, shaded groves of Dhungri Forest to marvel at the iconic 16th-century wooden pagoda dedicated to Hadimba Devi, adorned with intricate wood carvings and antler motifs, alongside the open-air tree shrine of her warrior-son, Ghatotkacha.
Drive down toward the banks of the Manalsu River to visit the Club House, a popular recreational spot offering indoor games, roller-skating, and river-crossing activities set against steep valley views.
Explore the serene Tibetan Monastery, renowned for its colorful murals, gold-faced Buddha statues, and spinning prayer wheels that offer a peaceful glimpse into Buddhist culture.
Conclude your day with a relaxed stroll down the bustling pedestrian hub of Mall Road. Browse local markets for Kullu shawls, wooden handicrafts, and mountain preserves, or sample warm local treats like siddu and hot chocolate.
Return to the hotel by evening to enjoy a freshly prepared dinner and rest up for the days ahead.

Opt to journey up to the legendary Rohtang Pass (3,978 m), a dramatic glacial saddle offering 360-degree panoramic views of craggy peaks, moraines, and the Pir Panjal range. (Note: Rohtang Pass access is governed by National Green Tribunal (NGT) permits, seasonal road openings, and local taxi union regulations, and is available at an additional supplement).
Choose an engineering-marvel drive through the world-renowned Atal Tunnel under the Rohtang ridge. Emerge onto the stark, dramatic landscape of the Lahaul Valley at the North Portal for high-altitude photography and breathtaking mountain panoramas (available as an optional upgrade at an extra cost).
